Responsibilities
Plan and schedule material demand to maximize on-time delivery performance.
Ensure material plans are achieved and implement remedial actions to address bottlenecks.
Manage material load and supervise supplier performance to meet quality and delivery requirements.
Oversee the purchasing of production materials to support manufacturing operations and fulfill customer needs.
Develop and maintain monthly material plans (MRP) aligned with the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
Apply strong negotiation skills to secure optimal delivery terms, cost savings, and quality standards.
Collaborate with the procurement team on new projects and E-Sourcing activities.
Support the Purchasing Supervisor and Material Manager in achieving departmental and company KPIs.
Collaborate closely with planners to ensure that MPS demands are consistently fulfilled.
Prepare, check, and release purchase orders to approved suppliers in a timely and accurate manner.
Coordinate with warehouse teams to manage incoming raw materials and inventory flow.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries in line with MPS schedules.
Resolve purchase order discrepancies efficiently with internal teams and suppliers.
Take responsibility for meeting company inventory level targets.
Update and maintain supplier data and price quotations in the ERP system.
Drive inventory reduction and control initiatives while supporting cost containment efforts.
Uphold company policies, goals, and objectives.
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Who You Are
You are a proactive, detail-oriented professional who keeps the Master Production Schedule (MPS) on track. You manage purchase orders accurately and quickly, collaborate with warehouse teams to coordinate materials, and build strong supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery. You solve issues efficiently, take ownership of inventory targets, and drive cost-saving initiatives. You keep ERP data accurate and support operational excellence. Adaptable and committed, you step up to new challenges and contribute to company goals with focus and impact.
For This Role, You Will Need
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong product and sourcing knowledge, with proven negotiation skills.
Solid expertise in inventory management and material planning.
Proficiency in computerized MRP systems, along with strong computer and application software skills.
Independent, proactive, and able to take initiative.
Self-motivated, determined to succeed, and capable of meeting deadlines while working under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart
Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline.
Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced computer proficiency.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels and functions.
