A responsible professional with excellent communication and coordination skills, who thrives in a collaborative team environment. Strong communication skills in Malay, English, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supplier development, selection, assessment, and evaluation, and the placement of purchase orders.
- Managed the submission, tracking, and confirmation of supplier samples, as well as the submission, cross-functional review, and approval of PPAP documentation.
- Executed the signing of agreements with new suppliers, including NDAs, integrity agreements, packaging confirmations, supply contracts, and pricing agreements.
- Maintained and updated the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
- Handled returns and replacements due to supplier quality issues, and pursued quality claims and corrective actions.
- Conducted supplier performance evaluations and drove continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinated and executed daily purchasing operations.
- Make periodic visits to suppliers if necessary
