Facility Manager

Responsible for making sure that buildings and their services meet the needs of the people that work in them. Facilities managers are accountable for services such as cleaning, security and parking, to make sure the surrounding environment is in a suitable condition to work. They also manage any building maintenance with things like heating and air conditioning, to maintain the working environment.

Responsibilities :

• Ability to handle a team of maintenance head, technicians, cleaning supervisors and cleaning crew and monitor their performance.
• Ensure that all operating standards and guidelines follow Company’s policies and procedures.
• Ensuring cost-effectiveness of procurement processes with excellent negotiation skills with vendors.
• Asset management and inventory management.
• Ability to plan and execute services according to contract and agreement.
• Energy management / reduction initiatives across facility as well as utilities management.
• Sound understanding on Government Law which related to building facility managements and cleaning requirement.
• Verify supervisor’s planning, attend meeting with client, manage customer complaints, conduct internal troubleshooting meeting, inspect and monitor daily operation activities and verify monthly purchases.
• Responsible for other duties and functions as stipulated in Quality Management System and shall : Ensure that the quality management system conforms to the requirements of ISO 9001; Ensure the processes are delivering their intended outputs; Report on the performance of the quality management system and on opportunities for improvement in particular to top management; Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization; and Ensure that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented.
