Responsibilities
- Establish, document, implement, and maintain an RQMS that aligns with ISO9001 or equivalent industry standards.
- Define product-specific RQMS and quality requirements for each resale product category.
- Incorporate industry-specific and customer-specific requirements into the RQMS.
- Manage applicable product / process certifications relevant to resale products.
- Lead supplier evaluation, approval, and requalification processes.
- Conduct and coordinate supplier audits (onsite every 2–3 years at a minimum).
- Review and approve new product qualifications, ensuring compliance with KAVX standards.
- Maintain supplier scorecards and performance reviews, including grading (A / B / C) based on metrics, audits, and feedback.
- Product Inspection & Testing
- Define and oversee incoming inspection and testing plans, including sampling criteria.
- Ensure inspection procedures cover visual, functional, cleanliness, and specification compliance checks.
- Adjust inspection / testing frequencies based on KPIs and supplier performance.
- Maintain accurate inspection and testing records for trend analysis.
- Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
- Manage non-conforming products, ensuring containment and corrective action.
- Lead root cause analysis and preventive action plans, using 8D methodology when required.
- Coordinate resolution of customer complaints related to resale products.
- Act as the point of contact for all quality-related matters on resale products.
- Respond to customer quality requests, surveys, and contract reviews.
- Provide training to suppliers on KAVX quality standards and expectations.
- Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain RQMS documentation, inspection / test results, and supplier evaluations.
- Track and report on KPIs such as return rates, inspection pass rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Use quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Training & Development
- Train internal staff on RQMS requirements, inspection procedures, and quality standards.
- Ensure supplier training is delivered on quality methods, handling procedures, and applicable standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the resale quality process.
