Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, financial management, and resource allocation. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team of academics.
On behalf of our client, a reputable university located in the Klang Valley, Randstad is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to assume the role of Dean for the Faculty of Computer Science .
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the faculty's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the university's overall vision and goals.
- Oversee curriculum development, program reviews, and the enhancement of undergraduate and postgraduate courses to be at the forefront of the field.
- Lead the recruitment, mentorship, development, and evaluation of academic staff to build a high-performing and collaborative team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, government bodies, alumni, and the wider community to foster collaborations, internships, and funding opportunities.
