Overview
Grab Financial Group (GFin) is the Fintech division of Grab, building everyday financial services for consumers, merchants and driver-partners across Southeast Asia. The Regional Strategy & Partnerships team shapes and executes GFin's growth agenda by defining longer-term strategy, assessing and executing on strategic partnerships and M&A opportunities, and leading high-impact projects, working closely with Grab Leadership and Vertical, Product, Country, Risk, Tech, Data, Marketing, Strategic Finance and Corporate Development teams.
Responsibilities
- Shape regional consumer FinTech strategy by developing winning propositions for GFin's growing consumer portfolio, optimizing distribution and inter-product / vertical linkages, executing on strategic partnership opportunities and helping manage overall business performance.
- Define and execute Grab's web3 strategy, including managing current partnerships, exploring new ones, prioritizing use cases aligned to Grab's strategic goals and executing pilots with partners and other stakeholders.
- Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on key issues, such as strategic initiatives, business plans and investments, using rigorous analysis and systems-level thinking.
- Support the Senior Manager, GFin Regional Strategy & Partnerships and work on overall strategy development for Grab's consumer fintech and web3 businesses, including opportunity sizing, customer segmentation, value proposition development, competitive positioning and execution of pilots & experiments.
- Lead or support high-impact cross-functional projects, collaborating with Vertical, Product, Country, Risk, Tech, Data, Marketing, Strategic Finance and Corporate Development teams.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape and user behavior to identify opportunities and inform decision making.
- Drive strategic partnerships relevant to Grab's consumer fintech and web3 businesses, including partner management, business case development, project management and due diligence.
Qualifications
A degree with good honours; MBA is an added advantage.At least 3 or more years of experience in strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, product management, business development or equivalent roles.Experience (or demonstrated interest) in Fintech, consumer technology and / or web3 is an added advantage.Experience with quantitative analysis (e.g., financial modelling and data manipulation).Experience constructing and delivering clear presentations to senior executives.Experience managing complex cross-functional projects.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.Creative and comfortable with \'blank sheet of paper\' assignments.Up to 15% travel may be required.Additional Information
