Strategic Account Director, FSI Malaysia

Job Description

The Strategic Account Director partners with our customers to secure their entire digital experience, managing key FSI customers in Malaysia. You’re motivated by solving critical challenges facing our customer’s secure environment, prepared to connect them with a solution for every stage of threat prevention. You develop trusted relationships at a high, executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the partnership. You have a concrete understanding of our product suites and can identify areas that can be resolved by Palo Alto Networks solutions. This role is a significant driver of company revenue and growth. As an experienced sales professional, you’ll lead and drive sales engagements.

Your Impact

  • You will specifically be responsible for acquiring and managing key FSI customers in Malaysia
  • Employ world-class account management skills to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within the target accounts
  • Be a highly competent presenter, with a proven track record in selling to executives
  • Facilitate communication on strategic and tactical issues facing our clients and partners
  • Use consultative selling to identify business challenges and create solutions for prospects and customers
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position the Palo Alto Networks portfolio
  • Create clear goals and accurate forecasting through a detailed territory plan
  • Leverage prospect stories to create a compelling value proposition for specific accounts
  • Stay updated on industry news and trends and how they affect Palo Alto Networks products and services
  • Travel as necessary within your territory, and to company-wide meetings

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • At least 10+ years of quota carrying sales experience, ideally in the Malaysia FSI space
  • Demonstrated experience selling complex solutions, value selling, and / or consultative sales techniques
  • Technical aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
  • Ability to identify problems, review data, determine root causes, and provide scalable solutions
  • Strong ability to collaborate with partners and internal technical teams to provide world-class solutions to customers
  • Self-motivated with strong experience selling into the FSI space
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work with high autonomy and self-direction
