Medical Officer #HJA

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct patient consultations and physical examinations under supervision.
• Assist in the management of patients with hand and upper limb injuries or conditions in outpatient clinics, operating theatres, and wards.
• Perform minor surgical procedures such as wound debridement, tendon repairs, and splinting under supervision.
• Coordinate pre- and post-operative care, including patient counselling and follow-up reviews.
• Participate in daily ward rounds, case discussions, and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Document clinical findings and treatment plans in accordance with institutional standards.
• Work closely with allied health professionals (e.g., hand therapists, nurses) for integrated patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement projects, clinical audits, or teaching sessions where applicable.
• Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and clinical governance protocols.
