We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Accounting Executive to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting records, managing the full accounts payable cycle, and supporting compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements. You will play a key part in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting day‑to‑day finance operations, and contributing to the smooth running of the company’s accounting processes.
What You'll Do
- Ensure proper accounting records are kept and in accordance with IFRS
- Assist in month‑end closing activities, including AP schedules, accruals, and expense analysis
- Support in Group annual statutory audit
- Record expenses, invoices, staff claims, and vendor transactions accurately into NetSuite
- Maintain proper documentation and electronic filing of invoices and other supporting schedules in accordance with company policies
- Support intercompany billing and reconciliations where required
Accounts Payable (AP) Cycle
Prepare and process the full AP cycle, from invoice verification to payment execution, subject to review and internal approvalReview and validate supporting documents submitted by each department before initiating payment processingEnsure compliance with company approval policies and internal control requirements before submission for approvalPrepare vendor and staff payments (local and overseas) in banking platforms for approver’s review and authorisationMaintain accurate vendor master records and update payment terms in NetSuiteMonitor AP aging and elevate overdue items to the Finance teamPerform monthly AP reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with vendors promptlyProcess & Compliance
Ensure all AP transactions comply with internal financial policies, approval matrices, and audit requirementsSupport external audit requests including, but not limited to, preparing AP and expense‑related documentationProvide support on ad‑hoc reporting and finance‑related projectsLiaise internally with the Finance team to ensure smooth coordination of accounting processesWhat We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldMinimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience in accounts payable and bookkeepingProficiency in English and Mandarin is highly preferredHands‑on experience with accounting systems (experience in Oracle NetSuite is an advantage)Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office toolsStrong attention to detail, organised, proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervisionGood communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple departments across locationsAbility to manage deadlines and work in a fast‑paced environmentProactive, adaptable, and willing to take on additional responsibilities beyond the core job scope when requiredThe role is based fully onsite in the officeSeniority Level
