Senior Finance Executive (Sunway Super App)
This position will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of the company. This role involves assisting in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL) activities, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial records.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process accounts receivable (AR) transactions, including preparation and issuance of invoices.
- Monitor and follow up on long-overdue collections to ensure timely recovery.
- Communicate with customers to resolve billing and payment-related queries.
- Liaise closely with the IT team to ensure AR processes run smoothly.
- Identify opportunities to enhance or improve AR processes for greater efficiency in invoicing.
- Process accounts payable transactions, including invoicing entries, payment preparation, and maintenance of payment listings and ageing reports.
- Support improvements in accounts payable (AP) processes to reduce turnaround time.
- Assist in general ledger activities such as PPE depreciation, accruals, prepayment, and provision journals.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank reconciliation, debtor reconciliation, creditor reconciliation, and fixed asset reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet listing schedules, expense schedules, inter-company balances, etc.
- Maintain organized filing systems to ensure all company documents are up-to-date, properly filed, and well-kept.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) in all accounting processes.
- Undertake other administrative duties and handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements :
Possess at least a LCCI Diploma, partial professional qualification, Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.A minimum of 4 years of working experience in accounting / finance field is required.Experience in loyalty programmes, membership platforms, or customer rewards businesses is preferred.Ability to work effectively within a team with minimum supervision.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and administrative tasks.Proficiency in relevant financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.Only shortlisted candidate will be notified
