Overview
Our client, an established service provider is looking for a Senior Officer, Corporate Secretarial Services to provide high-level corporate governance and compliance support to clients. This role is based in Kuala Lumpur.
Key Responsibilities
- Corporate Governance & Compliance : Ensure clients comply with regulatory requirements, manage company incorporations, share transfers, and corporate restructuring.
- Board Support & Documentation : Organize and facilitate board and committee meetings, prepare meeting materials, draft minutes, and ensure compliance with governance protocols.
- Client Advisory Services : Provide expert advice on corporate governance structures, compliance obligations, and regulatory changes impacting client businesses.
- Corporate Filings & Compliance : Oversee statutory filings, maintain corporate records, and ensure timely submission of regulatory documents.
- Client Relationship Management : Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their corporate governance needs and ensuring a high level of service.
- Liaison with Regulatory Bodies : Engage with regulatory authorities and legal advisors to handle corporate registrations, filings, and compliance matters.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Law, Business Administration, or a related fieldAt least 2 years of corporate secretarial experience, preferably in a professional service provider environmentStrong knowledge of local corporate laws, compliance regulations, and governance best practicesStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple clientsSeniority level
