Requirements
- BSc (Hons) in Science or any related field recognised by the Government, from any local institutions of higher learning or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of working experience in the related fields.
- Certified as Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and registered under Allied Health Profession (AHP) is an advantage.
- Flexibility, resilience, and willingness to work long hours.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive and dynamic individual with ability to adapt to changes, able to work under pressure and willing to work on shift duties.
- Highly motivated and disciplined with high level of integrity.
- Possess good communication, keen to learn new thing and able to work in a team.
Language Qualification
All candidates must have obtained :
Credit (at least C) for Bahasa Melayu and English (including oral examination) in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the government ORIELTS Band 6 / Band 4 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET). Candidate without any of these qualifications will be required to sit for the IIUM English Language Proficiency Test.In support of Maqasid Shariah, IIUM is a smokefree CampusNote : Shortlisted applicants who are currently employees of the Malaysian Government or Statutory Bodies in Malaysia will be required to submit the hard copy of applications through their respective Heads of Department together with the confidential report and up to date service record.
Responsibilities
To ensure the daily operations of the diagnostic laboratory, ensuring efficient workflow, timely sample processing, and effective utilization of resources.To implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards.To perform and oversee a range of diagnostic tests and procedures, including routine and specialized test.To ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices in laboratory medicine.To manage the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and instrumentation.To evaluate new technologies and implement upgrades as needed to enhance diagnostic capabilities.To ensure data management processes, including accurate recording, analysis and reporting of test results.International Islamic University Malaysia
