We are seeking a detail-oriented Sub Editor to join our Wires Section . This role involves editing and refining news stories from wire services.
Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread articles, features, and other written content for accuracy, grammar, punctuation and adherence to the FMT's house style.
- Ensure that all edited content meets high editorial standards, maintains a consistent tone and is engaging for readers.
- Fact-check and verify the information presented in articles to ensure accuracy and credibility.
- Work closely with the editorial team to meet deadlines and production schedules.
