End User Technology Engineer – MetLife

The End User Technology Engineer delivers, supports and optimises end‑user computing environments across MetLife, ensuring employees have reliable, secure and productive technology experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Modern Device, Endpoint & Mobility Management – Configure, deploy, and support desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones using modern tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, JAMF, and EMM. Manage device enrollment, security policies, and application deployment.
- Software Delivery, Testing & Deployment – Package, test, and deploy software applications and updates using automated delivery platforms. Coordinate pilot testing, user acceptance, and phased rollouts while monitoring deployment success and troubleshooting failures.
- Collaboration & Productivity Technologies (O365) – Support, administer, and optimise Microsoft 365 / O365 services including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Exchange Online. Troubleshoot O365 application issues and enable secure, seamless user experiences.
- Meeting Room & Audio / Visual Technologies – Set up, maintain and support meeting room technologies (AV equipment, conferencing systems, smart boards). Proactively test and monitor readiness of meeting spaces and coordinate with vendors for upgrades and incident resolution.
- Technical Leadership & Team Collaboration – Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and lead small project teams. Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver technology solutions, drive process improvements, and evaluate new end‑user, O365, and mobility solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience – Engineer : 2–5 years relevant experience. Senior : 5+ years with demonstrated technical and / or team leadership.Technical Skills – Proficiency in Windows, macOS, Windows Mobile and Apple iOS. Expertise in Microsoft 365 / O365 administration and troubleshooting. Experience with collaboration platforms, AV / meeting room technologies, and monitoring tools.Automation & Testing – Strong experience in automation, software packaging, automated deployment, and testing methodologies.Customer Service & Communication – Excellent troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills.Leadership – (Senior Level) Ability to lead, mentor, and manage technical teams.Preferred Certifications – Microsoft 365 / O365, Apple, AV / Collaboration / Mobility platform certifications, ITIL v4.Language – Business proficiency in English. Proficiency in Japanese will be an added bonus.Seniority Level
