We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager, Human Resource (IR / ER) to join DHL eCommerce Malaysia. The Assistant Manager, Human Resource (IR / ER) will provide day‑to‑day HR support and counsel to stakeholders, focusing on employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, engagement, and retention activities. They will also handle recruitment, compensation and benefits, and training for designated functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Employee Relations

  • Develop and maintain Industrial Relation policies to ensure compliance with local employment laws and industrial norms.
  • Manage IR matters related to internal misconduct, external court disputes, grievances, and provide advisory over IR operations.
  • Consult people managers on appropriate disciplinary actions and processes in line with company policies and local employment law.
  • Prepare and conduct internal inquiry (Domestic Inquiry) processes.
  • Attend IR cases at the labour office or IR court.
  • Advise on employee relations requirements relevant to policy compliance, performance management, and disciplinary matters.
  • Prepare and conduct training in employee and industrial relations for relevant stakeholders.
  • Foster strong links with government officials and represent the company in matters requiring reconciliation with government agencies.

Performance Management

  • Apply a consistent, harmonized approach to group systems and policy implementations : MyTW, bonus schemes, compensation & benefits, job evaluation, etc.
  • HR Compliance

  • Report and follow up compliance incidents to the country compliance officer.
  • Conduct HR internal compliance audits to ensure team compliance on all control points.
  • Employee Engagement

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and events.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute employee relations activities as part of the engagement effort.
  • HR Business Partner

  • Act as an HR business partner to designated functions, aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive organizational performance.
  • Provide expert guidance and support across the full spectrum of HR functions including workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, organizational development, and change management.
  • Others

  • Take on ad‑hoc assignments from time to time.
  • Desired Skills / Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Law, or equivalent.
  • HR generalist skills in employee relations, recruitment, compensation & benefits, and training.
  • Previous experience in an IR / ER focused role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer‑oriented mindset, positive attitude.
  • Energetic and enjoys dealing with people.
  • High degree of independence.
  • Ability to multi‑task with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
