Disaster Recovery Coordinator

Job Summary
Disaster Recovery coordinator plays a vital role in making sure minimum disruption to our digital infrastructure in an event of disaster. This role is expected to conduct extensive testing and ensure a robust IT recovery plan for our cloud infrastructure and systems. The plan must comply to industry standard recovery time and objective.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement IT recovery plan to ensure continuity and resiliency of company operations.
- Conduct regular testing of IT recovery plan to ensure effectiveness and seamless performance of recovery plan in an event of actual disaster.
- Conduct risk assessment of different kind of potential risks such as natural disaster, cyber attacks as well as infrastructure and system failures.
- Participate and collaborate with architectural team to ensure resiliency of IT cloud infrastructure.
- Lead incident response effort by coordinating with various stakeholders in performing system recovery within the agreed RTO and RPO.
- Maintain IT disaster recovery plan documents including recovery procedures, configurations and contact information.
- Produce report of testing results to show the level of plan and readiness to respond to disasters to management as well the regulators.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. Stay abreast on relevant standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.1 year of experience in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.Good communication skills and excellent problem‑solving & analytical skills.Seniority Level
