HR & Admin Executive (Recruitment Focus)

We are seeking a dynamic HR & Admin Executive with strong expertise in recruitment to support our company’s talent acquisition and HR functions. The role will focus heavily on end-to-end recruitment activities, while also assisting with general HR administration and office operations. The ideal candidate is resourceful, people-oriented, and experienced in sourcing and attracting top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment (Main Focus) :
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract suitable candidates.
  • Source candidates through job portals, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone / initial interviews, and assess candidate suitability.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and provide timely feedback.
  • Conduct reference checks and background verification.
  • Prepare and extend job offers, and support new hire onboarding.
  • Continuously review and improve recruitment processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • HR & Admin (Secondary Support) :
  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in employee onboarding and orientation.
  • Manage leave, attendance, and basic HR administration.
  • Support payroll preparation by providing relevant HR data.
  • Provide administrative support for office operations, events, and training activities.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive HR information.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in recruitment (in-house or agency).
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, interview methods, and recruitment tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (Spoken and Written) is essential, as this role may require communication with Mandarin speaking stakeholders. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
