Accounts Assistant

T Rex Metalware Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team in Bukit Sentosa, Selangor (near Perodua Factory) . In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial accounts and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our operations.

What you'll be doing

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
• Prepare monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and other financial reports
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner
• Assist with the preparation of any tax returns and liaise with external auditors
• Provide administrative support, such as filing, data entry, and responding to inquiries
• Contribute to the implementation of efficient accounting procedures and systems
• Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to ensure financial compliance and effective internal controls
• Responsible for the documentation and correspondences of loan or finance matter, such as Term Loan, OD, BA and LC.
• Assist in yearly financial audit
• Maintain accounting database by processing data recovery, system upgrade and backup
• To review SST filing to Custom Department on a timely basis
• Any ad hoc task as assigned by superior
