Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Assess Compliance Systems
Design, monitor, and assess governance, risk, and compliance control systems to address violations of legislative or regulatory compliance, including :
a) Anti-Bribery and Conflict of Interest Policy Compliance
b) Data Protection Compliance (security, confidentiality, data retention)
c) Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Compliance
Internal Governance Support
Provide governance guidance to management, including :
a) Resolving corporate governance and compliance challenges
b) Offering editorial input for reports, presentations, and content refinement
c) Preparing and presenting complex reports
Risk Assessment for Future Ventures
Assess potential compliance risks for future business ventures, collaborating with Legal Counsels to identify organizational exposure.
Collaboration with Other Departments
Work closely with Legal Counsels, Finance, and Human Resources to enforce compliance standards and regulations.
Management Reporting
Report non-compliance issues to management and headquarters. Prepare an annual review to address corrective actions or system changes, aligned with organizational values and objectives.
Policy Development and Monitoring
Develop, review, and monitor new risk management policies and procedures. Continuously assess potential developments that may impact the organization, identifying hidden risks or non-conformity.
Maintain Risk and Contract Registers
Keep and manage an up-to-date risk register and contract register.
Standard Operational Procedures Management
Oversee the governance and maintenance of a central register for the development and implementation of standard operational procedures for the region.
Internal Audit and Compliance Programs
Develop and implement an internal audit program to identify compliance issues. Provide advice on improvements or developments needed.
Facilitate Compliance Development Programs
Facilitate governance and compliance development programs across regional affiliates.
Complaint Handling and Root Cause Analysis
Ensure effective handling of complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and drive customer journey improvements.
Trend Identification and Knowledge Sharing
Identify emerging trends and proactively share knowledge to enhance compliance practices.
Stay Current with Regulatory Developments
Keep up to date with regulatory changes both within and outside the organization, and with best practices in compliance control.

Critical Work Experience
Minimum 6 years of experience in compliance monitoring and risk management
Experience ensuring compliance with national and international legislation and regulations
Specialist knowledge in risk management frameworks, providing operational protection and governance
within finance, legal, and human resources functions
