Food Technologist

Responsibilities

• Responsible in the identification, assessment and validation of formulations from bench-top through commercialization.
• Continuously introduce new ideas and product concept for new products, quality improvement and productivity.
• Evaluate ingredients for their suitability in applications with respect to sensory, stability, and processing.
• Keep abreast of market trends, product concepts, new ingredients, processes to ensure competitive advantage.
• Facilitate and coordinate manufacturing trial run.
• Sampling preparation for trade show / market request.
• Conduct tasting session and sensory trainings.
• Regulation compliance checking for product labelling.
• Responsible in product stability study.
• Responsible on the coordination with external laboratory, machine calibration, etc.
• Work with cross-function team (ie : engineering, QA, production, ISS) to develop production solutions.
• Responsible in PD documentation control system.
• Contribute technical support to troubleshoot customers’ feedback and address technical concerns related to products and raw materials.
