EDUCATION
- Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable
- Degree in finance or other relevant field certifications
WORK EXPERIENCE
Financial services industry experience. Knowledge of markets and securities services or a related discipline a plusUnderstanding of trade services operations and awareness of relevant regulatory requirementsWorking knowledge of Swift / ISO payment formattingFUNCTIONAL SKILLS

Responsibilities include supporting the post‑trade execution of market and treasury transactions. The Settlement Analyst assists with :Accurately clearing and settling trading activity while observing established cut‑off time for relevant currencies and locations
Ensuring efficient settlement via relevant systemsEnsuring that all trading processes and documents comply with relevant regulatory requirementsProcessing incoming and outgoing wiresClient allocation distributionDeal checking, system‑to‑system reconciliations, and break resolution to settle executed tradesVerifying and validating tradesPreparing settlement and receipt reports and escalating outstanding confirmations as necessaryResponding to settlement queriesRemediating settlement issuesReviewing and approving margin calls across multiple asset classesConfirmation and verification of agreed collateral with counterpartiesMaintaining eligibility criteria and customer account master static data as per the terms and conditions of executed documentationActioning margin transfers on behalf of Tokyo Head OfficePreparing daily / monthly reportsCommunicating with Front Office Business Partners regarding trade booking discrepancies and settlement inquiriesMitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is an equal opportunity employer.
