account & finance executive

Job Summary :

The Account & Finance Executive will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and administrative functions for the XG Coating HQ and supporting franchise financial coordination. This role requires attention to detail, strong financial discipline, and the ability to support a fast-growing automotive service brand.

Key Responsibilities :

A. Accounting & Bookkeeping

Handle full set of accounts (GL, AP, AR, Bank Reconciliation).

Record daily transactions including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments.

Prepare monthly management reports, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.

B. Franchise Support & Reporting

Consolidate financial data from franchise branches.

Monitor royalty collection, payment schedules, and compliance.

Assist with franchisee account queries and reporting formats.

C. Payroll & Staff Claims

Process staff salaries, commissions, and incentives.

Verify and manage monthly staff claims and OT submitting .

D. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

Prepare and assist in SST, EPF, SOCSO, EIS & income tax submissions.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretary when required.

E. Inventory & Asset Management

Coordinate with operations for inventory reconciliation and stock records.

Update asset registers and depreciation schedules.

F. Budgeting & Forecasting

Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenses vs. budget.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and flag any financial concerns.

Requirements :

Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent.

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.

Proficient in accounting software (SQL, AutoCount, or others).

Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table).

Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia.

High integrity, organised, and able to meet deadlines.

Experience in retail, service, or automotive industry is a plus.
