To ensure supplier delivers quality parts and to pro-actively manage all supplier related quality issues
To be in charge of Incoming department and assist all IQA personnel.
To be in charge of Supplier quality improvement project related to main issue categories (lead frame, substrate, component & etc.)
To take responsibility of First Article process which includes measurements, sample retention and generating FAI reports to be submitted to the QA Manager for approval.
Take charge of Incoming Activities - managing, supervision & Inspection / measurement.
To assist any evaluation needed from time to time on the Customer Return failures related qualified lead frame, substrate and component part. Must be able to work closely with Engineering & Production Dept for this purpose.
To assist Incoming QA Tech and QC Inspectors in resolving SCAR's.
To resolve quality issues and being flexible in travelling to suppliers place to ensure parts received are to the highest quality standard.
To train Incoming Asst Quality Engineer any new & reject criteria from time to time.
To implement continuous improvement plan for incoming activities.
To conduct internal audit & supplier audit.
To ensure suppliers are answering SCAR's in a timely manner with proper follow ups.
Able to discuss and coordinate with supplier on the Rejects and Improvement of Incoming materials.
To control, monitor and ensure vendor replies are within time frame.
To execute any other day to day responsibilities as per superior' instructions (when required).
Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
Able to read technical drawings.
SPC skill and perform CPK studies.
Able to manage subordinates effectively.
Able to supervise QA Inspectors effectively.
Knowledge in ISO 9001.
Knowledge in AQL Sampling Plan.
Knowledge in FMEA, SPC and other quality techniques.
