Job Responsibilities :
Accounts Receivable Management
- Monitor and record all incoming payments accurately in the accounting system.
- Reconcile payment records with bank transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage aging reports by tracking overdue invoices and taking appropriate actions.
- Liaise with internal sales teams to resolve payment issues or customer disputes.
- Issue monthly or ad hoc customer statements to facilitate timely collections.
2. Collection and Customer Communication
Conduct regular follow-ups on outstanding payments through phone calls and email reminders.Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure timely collections and resolve queries.Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as sales, customer service, and logistics teams to address billing or delivery issues affecting payments.3. Credit and Debit Note Management
Review and process credit and debit notes based on approvals and company policy.Ensure proper documentation is maintained for audit and compliance purposes.Liaise with relevant departments to ensure all adjustments are justified and properly recorded.4. Account Reconciliation & Reporting
Perform regular reconciliations of customer accounts to identify discrepancies and initiate corrective actions.Assist in the preparation of monthly closing activities, including generating aging reports and collection status updates.Maintain accurate records of all AR transactions and ensure compliance with company accounting standards.5. Audit Support & Compliance
Assist in the preparation of schedules and supporting documents required for internal and external audits.Comply with all company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.6. Forecasting & Budgeting Support
Assist in cash flow forecasting by providing updates on expected collections.Contribute relevant AR-related data and insights during the budgeting and forecasting cycles.Job Requirements :
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience in finance or accounting, preferably in an FMCG or high-volume business environment.A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP software) and Microsoft Excel.Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices related to accounts receivable.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle customer correspondence professionally.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.Familiarity with audit requirements and experience supporting audit processes is an added advantage.
