Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. This role involves managing customer accounts, conducting product presentations, supporting pre- and post-sales activities, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain assigned customer accounts.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge and respond to customer inquiries.
- Consolidate customer requirements and report to the Sales Manager.
- Support pre-sales and post-sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate technical information effectively with customers, distributors, and internal teams.
- Conduct product presentations and seminars for prospective clients.
- Liaise with internal departments, HQ, and regional offices on customer and distributor matters.
- Prepare daily, monthly, and project-related reports, including sales performance and target achievements.
- Conduct market research to understand customer growth, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
Academic Qualifications
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in EngineeringExperience & Skills
Minimum 7 years of experience in system integration and factory automation.Proven experience as an engineer or sales engineer.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on sales and negotiation.Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).Fluency in Chinese, Malay, and / or Hokkien is an added advantage.Ability to multitask, take initiative, and work independently.Energetic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.Willingness to learn and adapt to multicultural environments.Possess a valid driving license and able to travel locally and overseas for short-term business trips.Seniority level : Mid-Senior level
