About the role

As the Manager, Medical Affairs , you will play a pivotal role in overseeing Medical Staff Affairs and act as the bridge between Hospital Management and the Medical & Dental Advisory Committee. This role ensures effective clinical governance, medical specialist credentialing, and smooth coordination of hospital committees, while supporting quality and patient safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings for Clinical Heads, MDAC, subcommittees, and hospital committees.
• Perform secretariat duties : organizing, minutes taking, and following up on action items.
• Manage credentialing, privileging, recruitment, contracts, and performance reviews of medical specialists.
• Ensure validity of APC, NSR registration, indemnity, and certifications at all times.
• Coordinate on-call rosters for adequate specialist coverage.
• Support hospital license renewal and maintain confidentiality of specialist records.
• Manage CME lectures, orientations, and training for medical specialists.
• Support information flow between hospital and corporate office.
• Prepare reports and data for clinical subcommittees.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety programs.
• Perform additional duties as required by the superior.
