Responsibilities
- Deliver lessons through face-to-face, online, or other approved teaching methods as directed by the Faculty or School.
- Engage and communicate with students to support their academic, career, and personal growth.
- Serve as Course Leader to oversee and coordinate course delivery.
- Design and develop course materials, lesson plans, activities, and assessments to enhance student learning.
- Evaluate and track students’ coursework, maintaining accurate records of progress and results.
- Upload, manage, and update course materials and assessments in UNIEC Virtual for assigned subjects.
- Coordinate with regional center tutors to monitor course progress and maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with external partners and industry experts to ensure course content aligns with current industry practices.
- Prepare, review, and moderate various sets of final exam questions for both modular and non-modular programs.
- Grade and moderate exam papers within the given deadlines as assigned by the Faculty.
- Enter exam results, verify data accuracy, and prepare course and exam performance reports for the Board of Examiners.
- Conduct research or scholarly activities and supervise student projects and placements where applicable.
- Contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of academic programs within the faculty.
- Develop new modules, including drafting Tables of Content (TOCs) and supporting documentation.
- Assist in preparing documentation for accreditation submissions (e.g., MQA).
- Support innovation in teaching methods and learning strategies.
- Participate in program reviews and quality improvement initiatives under the university’s quality framework.
- Collaborate with other university departments on teaching and learning matters.
- Attend meetings, training, and other events related to academic duties.
- Serve as an exam invigilator when assigned.
- Participate in marketing and promotional activities when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean, Deputy Vice Chancellor, or Management.
- Provide training and guidance to other lecturers.
Educational Qualifications
Minimum requirement : PhD or Master’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Engineering, or a related field.Skills & Experience Requirements
At least 2 years of teaching experience; industrial background is an advantage.Fresh graduates with PhD or Master’s degrees are encouraged to apply.Willingness to work flexible hours.Demonstrated passion and commitment to teaching.Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Leadership and motivational capabilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Strong research aptitude.Seniority level
