The Site Supervisor (Infrastructure) is responsible for supervising and monitoring all on-site civil and infrastructure works such as roads, bridges, drainage, utilities, sewerage, and other public works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and control daily infrastructure site activities (earthworks, piling, drainage, roadworks, utilities, etc.).
- Coordinate with subcontractors, workers, and suppliers to ensure timely completion.
- Monitor progress against project schedule and report to Project Engineer / Manager.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with JKR standards, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure proper testing (e.g., compaction, concrete cube tests) and quality control at site.
- Maintain daily site records, including work progress, manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Enforce compliance with DOSH, NIOSH, and CIDB safety regulations.
- Resolve site issues and liaise with consultants, authorities, and clients as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma / Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.CIDB Green Card (mandatory for site access).3–5 years’ experience in infrastructure works (highways, bridges, drainage, sewerage, utilities).Knowledge of JKR Standard Specifications, MSMA, SPAN, and local authority requirements.Able to read engineering drawings, survey levels, and construction details.Leadership and communication skills to manage site teams and subcontractors.Computer literacy (MS Project / Excel for reporting is an advantage).Possess own transport, willing to work at project sites across Malaysia.Be careful - Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
