Role focused on building and maintaining bancassurance relationships within the bank, driving cross-sell opportunities with branch staff and customers, and achieving sales targets for insurance products.
Responsibilities
- Foster a healthy relationship with branch staff and the Branch Manager to generate referrals.
- Engage walk-in customers and tap the bank’s database to cross-sell bancassurance products.
- Proactively communicate with branch staff about products and services offered.
- Work with Relationship Managers to increase insurance sales penetration to PB / AP clients.
- Meet clients and conduct the full sales process, including after-sales servicing.
- Obtain business resources from referrals and leads.
- Establish and strengthen customer relationships; maintain good rapport with customers and branch staff to ensure effective liaison and efficient operations.
- Aim to meet or exceed sales targets set by the Bank and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct fact-findings and insurance need analyses for clients and provide prompt advice and solutions.
- Contribute to team-generated ideas and action plans to increase activity and sales of insurance products.
- Maintain knowledge of the Bank’s products, features, benefits, promotions, and procedures.
- Provide personal financial advisory services to prospective customers and maintain persistency and cooling-off ratios.
Qualifications & Experience
At least 5-8 years of sales experience in financial services, preferably specializing in banca sales.Knowledge of insurance products; possession of insurance certificates (e.g., PCE A / B / C) and / or CEILI license is an added advantage.Skills
Sales- and achievement-oriented with a positive mindset and good teamwork.Self-motivated, results-driven, energetic, and capable of working independently.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with multilingual ability.Mobile and preferably with own transport; able to work beyond normal office hours and weekends.Knowledge
