Job Summary
As a key leader within CBRE's Facilities Management team, the Critical Services Supervisor (Tiger Team Lead) plays a vital role in driving operational excellence within a greenfield data center environment. This position is instrumental in ensuring a seamless transition from construction to full-scale operations, proactively resolving critical challenges, and supporting dynamic end-user requirements.
Leading a high-performing Tiger Team, the Supervisor is accountable for maintaining peak facility performance, safeguarding uptime, and ensuring strict adherence to operational protocols. The role demands a high level of technical expertise, decisive leadership, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, 24 / 7 mission-critical setting.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management :
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the Tiger Team technicians, ensuring they are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated to perform their duties effectively.
- Manage the team's roster, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts and adherence to the four-days-on, four-days-off schedule.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement within the team.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
Operational Handover & Support :
Oversee the operational handover process from construction to operations, ensuring all necessary documentation, systems, and processes are in place.Collaborate with the project team to address outstanding works and resolve any issues impacting the facility's readiness for operations.Support Client with end-user demands during the integration and migration of capacity, ensuring a seamless transition.Technical Expertise & Oversight :
Possesses comprehensive expertise in data center operations, with a strong focus on managing and maintaining critical infrastructure systems including PDUs, UPS, generators, advanced cooling systems (CRACs, chillers), BMS, fire safety, and security systems.Oversees the implementation of Change Control processes and Method of Procedure (MOP) executionEnsures accurate and up-to-date asset documentation, including drawings, manuals, and maintenance recordsManages the BMS integration process, ensuring proper configuration, monitoring, and control of critical systemsOversees the management of critical spares, ensuring adequate inventory levels and timely replenishmentCoordinates and participates in training programs for the Tiger Team and other Facilities Management (FM) personnelOversees and participates in Emergency Switching ProceduresCompliance & Safety
