Responsibilities :
Operate as part of a team of Advance Work Packaging professionals in preparing Construction and / or Installation Work Packages. Coordinate with construction, fabricators, and subcontractors on the preparation and implementation of Installation Work Packages.
Primary Duties :
- Develop Work Packages with all details required for execution, including engineering deliverables, materials, resources, constraints, safety, and quality control measures.
- Ensure data required for building work packages is available and accurate, in coordination with Engineering and Supply Chain departments.
- Ensure proper execution of AWP procedures and practices on the project.
- Analyze project design documents to determine the scope and requirements of the work.
- Prepare weekly reports monitoring the IFC dates of package drawings and material delivery status.
- Maintain a backlog of approved CWPs and / or IWPs.
- Work with Document Control to establish ties between EWP / CWP / IWPs documents.
- Monitor and update the lifecycle of CWPs and IWPs.
- Maintain the Change Management process within the packaging program.
- Review work packages (CWPs and / or IWPs) for release to construction.
- Coordinate with project planners and Construction Engineers to ensure alignment with the construction sequence.
- Collaborate with other AWP engineers from different disciplines to ensure logical execution sequences.
- Provide leadership, guidance, training, and mentoring to the AWP team, including junior members.
- Lead construction subcontractors and fabricators on IWP implementation :
- Conduct scoping sessions with stakeholders to identify open fronts and priorities for IWP preparation.
- Identify constraints of IWPs and clear them with stakeholders prior to release.
- Develop IWP / L4 schedules with construction partner planners.
- Ensure construction progress reporting against IWPs.
- Link each IWP to its related Inspection Test Report (ITR) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for invoicing.
Requirements :
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction projects, with references.Familiarity with AWP software and tools.Full implementation of AWP / workface planning for at least 2 years in oil & gas projects.#LI-CP1
