The Role

The Sales Engineer will create new sales opportunities and, maintain and improve sales of existing customers by building long term, sustainable, and profitable relationships. The successful candidate needs to provide efficient solutions and technical support to customers and represent the AMMEGA brand in the market.

Accountabilities

  • Build and manage existing customer relationships to nurture great partnerships
  • Proactively develop new sales leads
  • Schedule weekly activity and target meetings utilizing Salesforce
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams (Finance, Customer Service and Workshop)
  • Generate and follow-up on quotations, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensure prompt AR Collection
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues to develop, grow and gain market share

What Are We Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in sales and service, business development of industrial products targeting end user, OEM and distribution segments
  • Dynamic team player with sharp business acumen and capability of new business development (hunter mindset)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication, negotiation, and networking abilities
  • Technically competent to able to have technical discussions with customers
  • Ability to solve local customer problems by analyzing root causes and providing them with temporary as well as permanent solutions
  • Hands-on and willing to roll up the sleeves to support on-site team
  • Improve efficiency and maintain service levels of the highest quality toward customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate high level of customer centricity providing them with best possible solutions and service in a timely manner winning customer confidence
  • Self motivated with a growth mindset to turn adversity into opportunity and drive sales target achievement
  • Proven ability to forecast monthly sales with reasonable accuracy and deliver on planned actions
  • Proven track record demonstrating high integrity, trust and transparency whilst performing all actions
