Responsibilities
- Drive sales and profitability through effective product range planning, pricing strategies, and merchandise mix.
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept, design, sampling, and approval to production and launch.
- Conduct trend research to identify consumer preferences, market opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Support new product launches, including seasonal collections, limited editions, and collaborations.
- Source and negotiate with local and overseas suppliers / factories to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Negotiate MOQ, lead times, and costing to optimize margins and manage supplier relationships.
- Monitor production schedules, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Liaise with suppliers for product images, descriptions, and technical specifications for e-commerce and retail listings.
- Monitor inventory flow to ensure availability of bestsellers and effective stock rotation.
- Analyze sales performance and recommend product reorders, markdowns, or promotions.
- Coordinate merchandising allocations across online and offline channels for optimal sell-through.
- Oversee VM guidelines to ensure a consistent brand image across retail counters, pop-ups, and new store openings.
- Plan product displays, layout setup, and promotional materials for impactful in-store experience.
- Support MARCOM team with POSM (POP cards, banners, and in-store displays) artwork and execution.
- Provide on-ground sales support during key events or activations to maximize customer engagement and revenue.
Quality Control
Conduct regular quality checks during production and pre-shipment to ensure compliance with brand standards.Work with production teams to resolve issues related to fit, fabric, construction, or finishing.Maintain consistency and adherence to design integrity for all final products.Market Research & Trend Forecasting
Stay updated on global athleisure / fashion trends, fabric innovation, and consumer insights.Benchmark against competitors to ensure brand competitiveness and market relevance.Provide input into future product development, ensuring alignment with brand vision and commercial targets.Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, or related field.Minimum 2–4 years of experience in fashion merchandising, buying, or product development (athleisure / shapewear experience is a plus).Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights.Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Strong aesthetic sense, creativity, and eye for trends.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects independently.Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable with a strong sense of responsibility.#J-18808-Ljbffr
