Penerangan pekerjaanA bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Accounting or a related field. Certifications such as CISA are an advantage. Independent, self‑motivated, organized and results‑oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks within tight deadlines. Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong command of English (written and spoken). Strong interest in IT, business processes and accounting. Experience with ERP applications (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics ERP, etc.), databases (SQL, Oracle, Sybase, DB2), operating systems (Mainframe / Unix / Linux / Windows) and analytical tools (IDEA, ACL, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.
Senior Associate (IT Audit) (Petaling Jaya)
Join KPMG Malaysia as a Senior Associate (IT Audit) in Petaling Jaya. This role focuses on evaluating the systems and applications that protect an organization’s information, particularly for financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Assess entity‑level risk during audit planning and identify key IT elements relevant to financial reporting.
- Obtain an understanding of the entity’s IT environment and evaluate complex business processes.
- Identify the key IT application controls within business processes.
- Evaluate the design and implementation of general IT controls and application controls (ITAC).
- Test the operating effectiveness of general IT controls and application controls.
- Provide improvement points relating to the ITAC to the audit engagement team.
- Give periodic, timely status updates for the IT audit manager.
- Identify and communicate IT audit findings to clients and recommend performance improvement opportunities.
