Lead Structural Engineer - Offshore Platforms
Location : Kuala Lumpur / Site (as required)
Employment Type : 2-Year Contract
Overview :
Lead all structural engineering activities for offshore topsides, jackets, and modules, ensuring technical integrity, constructability, and compliance with standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead structural engineering team throughout all project phases
- Develop and maintain structural design basis, philosophies, and documentation
- Review and perform structural analyses using SACS, STAAD.Pro, SESAM, or equivalent
- Review and approve structural drawings, material take-offs, and construction specifications
- Coordinate with multi-discipline teams for integrated solutions
- Provide guidance to fabrication, procurement, and construction teams
- Participate in design reviews, HAZIDs, constructability assessments, and risk evaluations
- Mentor junior engineers
