Job Purpose
As an associate play therapist, your primary responsibility is to provide therapeutic support to children affected by cancer and their families. Using play-based approaches, you will help children express their emotions, process the challenges of diagnosis and treatment, and build coping skills, fostering resilience and emotional well-being throughout their cancer journey.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychological support to children affected by cancer using play therapy approaches through face-to-face sessions, virtual consultations, and home visits.
- Formulate individualised therapy plans and provide case management.
- Maintain proper case records and progress records in the patient database system.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary psychosocial team of healthcare professionals comprising mental health professionals, dietitians, and patient navigators.
- Participate in community engagements for childhood-related community outreach, programme planning, coordination, and when needed.
