Sales Channel Partner Manager – Safety Industry
We are introducing a new position for a
Sales Channel Partner Manager , based in
Shah Alam
with sales coverage across
Malaysia . The role focuses on developing and managing our channel partner network for
gas detectors and other safety equipment , serving customers in
Oil & Gas
as well as wider industrial manufacturing sectors.
This role was created to provide dedicated focus on channel development, while our direct sales team continues to manage B2B client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, assess, and onboard new channel partners in line with company standards.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with existing and prospective partners.
Work with partners on business planning, sales objectives, and performance targets.
Support partners with tender processes, pricing, product information, presentations, training, and marketing.
Monitor and evaluate partner performance; share regular insights and reports with management.
Design and implement incentive programs to boost growth through partners.
Conduct regular review meetings with partners and prepare quarterly performance reports.
Coordinate receivables and inventory allocation with Finance and Sales teams.
Maintain strong product knowledge to support channel growth and promote solutions.
Regularly update sales funnel, forecasts, and market intelligence to identify opportunities.
Achieve sales budgets and contribute to long-term strategic goals.
Research new markets, customer segments, and partnership opportunities.
Local Marketing & Market Insights
Stay updated on market developments, competitor strategies, and customer needs.
Collaborate with Sales & Marketing on events such as workshops, exhibitions, product launches, and industry conferences.
Share feedback and recommendations on market trends to support commercial growth.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field.
5+ years of sales experience , ideally in the
safety equipment industry .
Strong exposure to
channel sales / partner management , ideally gained in companies with well-established partner ecosystems (e.g., 3M or similar).
Familiarity with selling into
Oil & Gas and industrial manufacturing sectors .
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related business tools.
Results-driven, commercially minded, with strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
