GENERAL MANAGER

Overview

Develop and execute business plans and strategies to achieve sustainable growth and building businesses. Direct accountability for profitability of production, efficiency, output and quality. Develop and implement systems and procedures to ensure efficient plant operation. Review, focus and model the Company’s core values, mission and vision including Company’s strategic, performance and other management systems (ISO 9001 QMS, ISO 14001 EMS, etc.). Lead, coach, motivate and manage team of managers in all areas of general management and factory operations including promoting execution and teamwork to achieve objectives thru key performance indicators (KPI’s) and key result areas (KRA’s). Review and balance any return and risk for new business opportunities, mergers and acquisition by capitalized on emerging opportunities. Advise board of directors / shareholders on any business, profitability and operational matters including corporate finance, financial management, etc. Evaluate and maximize operational and financial performance including turnaround, cost saving and optimization activities. Review company technical / technological ability and capability to succeed and meeting customers’ requirement in product quality, service and ultimate value to the customer and the business. Proactive as Company’s representative to liaison, develop and building relationships with customers, suppliers / vendors (supply chain management), competitors, bankers, professional societies, government agencies and community groups. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and other requirements including customers’ requirements and company’s policy / practices / procedures, etc. Responsible to perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum Requirements – Education, Working Experiences, Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Engineering, Management, Business or-related field equivalent.

At least 8 years of working experience of progressively responsible management experience.

Strong business knowledge pertaining to the industry, local and internationally.

Passion and enthusiasm

Proven leadership ability to influence, develop and empower employees to achieve corporate objectives.

Able to travel to all locations when required.
