Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation and accuracy of all monthly, quarterly, and annual Management Accounts and Executive Committee (EXCO) reports, ensuring timely submission.
  • Manage the month-end closing process and oversee all day-to-day Finance administration activities for efficiency and compliance.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of all journal entries, balance sheet schedules, bank reconciliations, and expense schedules.
  • Prepare and conduct detailed variance analysis for revenue, gross profit, and operating expenses, summarising key findings for management review.
  • Ensure the correctness and integrity of the company's commission payable calculations.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of tax compliance (filing, estimations, and information compilation) and audit engagements, compiling necessary schedules and documentation.
  • Support the superior in preparing ad-hoc financial analysis and contributing to financial modelling initiatives as required.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess a Degree in Accounting / Finance or finalist in professional qualification in ACCA or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years working experience with reputable organisation in relevant field or a reputable audit firm.
  • Proficient and hands‑on in MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, Power Query will be advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal, decision making and analytical abilities, verbal and written communication skill in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure and commit time to meet deadline.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously with excellent attention to detail.
