Job descriptionCandidate must possess a Degree in Accounting / Finance or finalist in professional qualification in ACCA or equivalent. A minimum of 2-3 years working experience with reputable organisation in relevant field or a reputable audit firm. Proficient and hands‑on in MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, Power Query will be advantage. Excellent interpersonal, decision making and analytical abilities, verbal and written communication skill in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Able to work independently and under pressure and commit time to meet deadline. Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously with excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation and accuracy of all monthly, quarterly, and annual Management Accounts and Executive Committee (EXCO) reports, ensuring timely submission.
- Manage the month-end closing process and oversee all day-to-day Finance administration activities for efficiency and compliance.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of all journal entries, balance sheet schedules, bank reconciliations, and expense schedules.
- Prepare and conduct detailed variance analysis for revenue, gross profit, and operating expenses, summarising key findings for management review.
- Ensure the correctness and integrity of the company's commission payable calculations.
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of tax compliance (filing, estimations, and information compilation) and audit engagements, compiling necessary schedules and documentation.
- Support the superior in preparing ad-hoc financial analysis and contributing to financial modelling initiatives as required.
