Job Responsibilities
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
- Execute and manage routine e-commerce warehouse tasks including goods reception, packages organising, shelving, QC & packing, sorting, exceptions handling, inventory management, palletising and shipping
- Optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
- Maintain standards of health and safety protocols, hygiene and security
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
- Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
- Train and supervise warehouse staff; set performance goals
- Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN / OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure products meet standards before shipment
- Overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations to support the efficient and accurate fulfilment of customer online orders in a timely manner
- Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS), OMS, barcode scanning, and other tools to streamline operations and improve accuracy
- Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions
- Knowledge of inventory management best practices and quality control processes
- Lead and participate in special projects aimed at improving warehouse efficiency, such as process automation, layout optimization, and technology implementation
- Achieve warehouse KPI, operation optimisation and cost control goals
- Continual reviewing, analysing, improving processes and efficiencies
