Staff Engineer New Product Qualification

Overview

Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is currently seeking applicants for a New Product Qualification Staff Engineer. The position supports the R&D department in developing new products, improving existing ones, and ensuring the success of projects. Responsibilities include managing product reliability test systems, planning reliability process flow activities, and data analysis after stress tests and related tasks.

Job Location

This position will be located at Krubong, Melaka in a vibrant industrial area. You will experience exciting different local cultures in this historical state. Nearby are malls and various restaurants. It is also close to recreation parks and a stadium.

What You Will Be Doing

• Responsible for KPIs for area of responsibility as assigned by supervisor.
• Lead and manage product qualification team.
• Lead the qualification process for new products, ensuring they meet AECQ regulatory and performance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to drive projects from concept to production.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate product performance and reliability.
• Analyze test data and generate reports to support product qualification decisions.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during the qualification process.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific standards and AECQ regulatory requirements.
