Costing Analyst role at VF Corporation, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Costing Analyst, Operational Costing supports costing operations across VF’s portfolio, partnering with Product Sourcing and other functions to standardize and optimize costing processes.
YOUR ROLE
The Costing Analyst, Operational Costing is part of the Costing Management function in the Product Supply Enablement organization. Located in Kuala Lumpur, this role focuses on operational costing with partnerships across VF product sourcing teams and vendors to enable a One VF Global Costing Strategy and data-driven, automated costing processes.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
- Operations : Manage seasonal costing calendar and related activities (cost validation, system updates, maintenance); support information for vendor negotiations and cost-related analysis.
- Buy price updates for Purchase Order creations.
- Manage multiple business models / styles with different factories / costing submissions simultaneously with short lead times.
- Profitability : Provide timely insights to Sourcing and Costing stakeholders to identify opportunities for higher profitability and support cost negotiations with vendors.
- Connectivity : Deliver information to Product Sourcing, Brand, Product Vendors, Planning, Material Supply, Logistics and Engineering to enable a One VF Global Costing Strategy.
- Stakeholder Management : Collaborate across PSE & Product Sourcing Organization and with vendors; propose process improvements.
- Reporting : Support reporting needs including Costing Data Warehouse updates, Margin review reports, PIRs, and other tasks as directed.
- Process Improvements : Help improve costing productivity and efficiency by reducing redundancies and automating tasks.
- Standardization : Ensure process adherence within brands and vendors to leverage One VF scale.
- Travel : Minimal travel may be required.
