Accounting Manager

Penerangan pekerjaanBachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MIA membership preferred). Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge in manufacturing costing, stock take, and inventory management. Hands-on experience in full set of accounts and financial reporting. Proficient in accounting software (AutoCount preferred, or equivalent ERP systems). Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and ability to meet deadlines. Good communication skills in Mandarin, English and Malay. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full set of accounts .
- Maintain accurate manufacturing costing records including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Lead and coordinate stock take exercises; reconcile and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with MFRS and company policies.
- Monitor and analyse budgeting, forecasting, and variance reports to support production and management decisions.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory submissions.
- Strengthen internal controls, streamline accounting processes, and ensure audit readiness.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers, and government agencies.
- Supervise and guide the accounts team; ensure timely month-end closing and reporting.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
