Responsibilities
provide support to customers for all products and perform troubleshooting in a variety of environments to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and service
practical support and solution-oriented consulting for Beckhoff customers, both via remote maintenance and on site
resolving customer issues in a timely manner to keep downtime to a minimum
support for our customers with hardware and software issues in the following languages : C++, Visual Basic, IEC 61131-3 on PC-based platforms
monitor all assigned cases and update all activities on company tracking system
manage all customer issues and escalate them to the relevant departments if necessary
develop and disseminate technical documentation for users
handle in-depth technical questions in cooperation with product management and development
maintain accurate customer documents and prepare reports for all issues and resolutions
develop machine programs according to customer specifications in the following languages : C++, Visual Basic, IEC 61131-3 on PC-based platforms
offer standard and custom training to provide support and solutions for Beckhoff products
document and record all service, support, and project activities
programming support for our customers’ applications in high-level languages (C#, C++, .NET, Visual Basic) on a PC-based platform
approximately 70% of this role will involve traveling
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronic and Electrical Engineering, or a related field in Industrial Automation
fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
expertise in PC-technology, fieldbus systems, software
0–2 years of experience in industrial automation system integration
knowledge of IEC 61131-3 programming languages is a plus
knowledge of object-oriented extensions, C#, C++, etc. Python; objective C-, Programming is a plus
knowledge of circuit diagrams is a plus
customer- and service-oriented
a team player with strong communication skills
understanding of PLCs, motion controllers, robotics, distributed I / Os, fieldbus systems (EtherCAT) and HMI technology
strong analytical and reasoning skills to collaborate in a fast-paced, action-oriented team
