Job Description
- Be advocates for the startup scene in Malaysia
- Help identify and acquire new business leads across diverse industries
- Connect team competencies with business requirements and help make sense of them to clients
- Be well‑versed and prepared in pitching internal products and services to brands
- Maintain fruitful long‑term relationships with existing clients
Day‑to‑day Duties
Conduct constant research online and in social media to spot potential business leads and new markets the company can exploreCommunicate with potential clients to establish good rapport and arrange for meetingsPrepare presentation decks for pitching, reports, and feedback to upper managementIdentify candidates for open positions within the company and manage the recruitment process including initial assessments and interviewsAssist in developing sales goals for the teams and ensuring they are metStrengthen the internal processes to ensure a more efficient and effective operation in the companyMaximise internal PR efforts through research and monitoring the mediaQualifications
Strong skills in presentation, communication, and people management at all levelsStrong skills in presentation, time management, and planningProven working experience in business development or a similar roleRelevant industry and market knowledgeSeniority Level
