The Mission
We are seeking an AI Developer, whose primary focus is Gaussian Splatting technology, to undertake a radical transformation from standard 3D avatars to Gaussian-Splatting-based 3D Avatars.
Your primary mission will be to develop a platform for generation of Gaussian Splatting avatars. You will develop the code and build the platform for generation of Gaussian Splatting avatars, conduct robust research to achieve this target. The Gaussian Splatting Avatars need to be hyper-realistic, animable (add animation to avatars), with ability to add voice cloning and connect to Gemini, ChatGPT, and the likes of them, ability to place them in 3D environments. You will work with other AI developers, as well as 3D artists, Unity and backend developers to achieve these targets.
Responsibilities
Develop and optimize models based on Gaussian Splatting for efficient 3D reconstruction of scenes and objects.
Create algorithms for hyper-realistic 3D reconstruction of human bodies and faces from one or multiple photos (using methods like NeRF, SMPL, or similar).
Integrate models into real-world products, from mobile applications to cloud services.
Optimize model performance for real-time rendering on GPU / TPU.
Participate in research : experiment with new approaches in Gaussian Splatting, improving reconstruction quality (textures, lighting, animation).
Collaborate with data scientists, 3D artists, and backend developers.
Prepare reports, presentations, and publications based on project results.
Requirements
Higher education in computer science, mathematics, or related fields.
3+ years of experience as an AI developer, with a focus on computer vision and 3D modeling.
Deep expertise in Gaussian Splatting : experience in implementation, optimization, and application in projects.
Proficiency in hyper-realistic 3D human reconstruction : experience with models like PIFu, ICON, SMPLify, or similar; expertise in processing photos / videos for avatar creation.
Strong skills in Python, PyTorch / TensorFlow, OpenCV, Blender, or similar tools.
Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals : CNN, GAN, diffusion models.
Experience with datasets (e.g., Human3.6M, RenderPeople) and generating synthetic data.
Bonus : publications at conferences (CVPR, NeurIPS) or contributions to open-source projects in 3D reconstruction.
English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher (for reading documentation and communicating with an international team). We consider such specialists as replacements for a recently departed AI team member, as we need a more targeted specialist in those fields.
