Business Analyst - Data Officer

We are expanding our business rapidly across Asia (especially Malaysia). You will work on engaging projects with some of the largest banking and insurance clients in the world, projects that will deliver significant transformation and change. Besides, we have exciting growth plans in APAC and some very interesting new service lines opening.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support data-related initiatives led by the Chief Data Office (CDO) at a major banking client. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in data governance, privacy, and enterprise data management within the financial services industry.

In this role, you will support senior analysts and project teams in delivering data transformation initiatives that improve data quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and enable better use of data across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business and data requirements across CDO-related projects.
• Support the development of data dictionaries, process maps, and data flow documentation.
• Help track progress of data governance, data privacy, and internal control initiatives.
• Participate in meetings and workshops with stakeholders from business and technology teams.
• Conduct basic data analysis and validation to support decision-making and issue resolution.
• Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, and status reports.
