Job Summary
An experienced and dynamic professional to support the execution of the Beacon programme driving core elements of design and implementation across the bank. This programme reshapes the value proposition of Supply Chain Management, encompassing extensive organisation design while optimising the processes for how the bank manages and delivers procure-to-pay processes across all spend. Working with the programme director, you will support core elements of business analysis to underpin either the target operating model or the spend optimisation activities. You will draw on core business analysis skills including : requirement gathering, interviewing, change assessment, process design, financial modelling. You will work closely with senior leadership to manage a scalable, efficient, and future-proof supply chain operating model, ensuring alignment with the bank’s objectives, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy : Manage the execution of detailed business requirement definition in pursuit of defined strategic changes.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and key stakeholders to enact strategic objectives, performance indicators, and project milestones for the transformation process.
- Maintain benefits realisation and business case viability assessment, conducting variance and what-if analyses as required.
- Support strategic decision making through the synthesis of key analytics.
- Business : Implement best practices in supply chain management, as part of the defined programme plan.
- Regularly report on progress, challenges, and successes to senior leadership, ensuring transformation efforts are on track and delivering expected outcomes.
- Define and monitor KPIs to ensure continuous improvement and sustainable performance throughout the transition.
- Processes : Support execution of a comprehensive change management plan that ensures smooth transition and stakeholder buy-in at all levels.
- Assure communications, training and coaching for impacted teams to ensure alignment with the new operating model and effective use of new systems and processes.
- People & Talent : Build relationships across functions to deliver programme outcomes against milestones.
- Role model the Bank’s valued behaviours; drive a culture of data-driven decision making within the change context.
- Risk Management : Ensure the redesigned operating model complies with regulatory, risk, and compliance frameworks; identify and mitigate risks throughout the transformation.
- Governance : Engage with IT, finance, risk, compliance, and senior management to align transformation with broader objectives and regulatory frameworks; analyse performance data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Regulatory & Business Conduct : Display exemplary conduct and uphold the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct; embed ethics and compliance across Standard Chartered Bank; identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or related field. Certifications such as APICS CPIM, Six Sigma, or similar are desirable.Experience : At least 10 years in a leadership or transformation role, ideally in supply chain management / procurement; experience in full-scale operating model change; proven track record leading large-scale transformation initiatives; strong cross-functional leadership; knowledge of SCM technologies and best practices.Skills & Experience
