Penerangan pekerjaanBachelor\'s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Process, or related) Minimum 15 years\' experience in oil and gas safety engineering, including 8 years offshore Proven track record leading safety studies and coordinating multi-discipline interfaces Strong knowledge of international safety standards and regulatory frameworks EPC / EPCI experience and familiarity with offshore facilities Formal training or certification in functional safety, HAZOP facilitation, or risk assessment is advantageous Mid-Senior level Contract
Overview
Provides technical safety leadership throughout all phases of offshore platform projects, integrating safety principles into design, fabrication, and installation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all safety engineering activities for the project lifecycle
- Develop and maintain safety design philosophies, HSE plans, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with project, national, and international safety standards
- Perform HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, QRA, Fire & Explosion Risk Analysis, and EERA studies
- Oversee design of fire and gas detection, fire protection systems, and safety layouts
- Approve safety-related deliverables including equipment specifications and interface drawings
- Participate in design and constructability reviews
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure knowledge transfer
